100 Things that Piss Me Off August 28, 2005

I saw this on someone else’s blog and thought what the hell, I’ll steal that idea from her pronto! I wish I could remember who’s blog it was, and if I run across her again, I will be sure to thank her properly.

I don’t think I’ll finish it all right now, but I’ll start.

1. When I give in and buy myself a pint of Ben & Jerry’s, and it’s clear that it has melted and been re-frozen, and it tastes like a sour dish rag. Plus, I also hate it when I get a little ice cream on my thumb while I’m sitting at my computer, and I get it on the space bar, and then it’s all sticky and my thumb sticks to it. That’s annoying.
2. That tinny taste in my mouth when I’m hungover. I can’t get rid of it, although Taco Bell helps. The only thing that works is to take a long nap.
3. 9/17/05 – I finally take the time to sit down and do some homework, of which I have copious amounts, and my husband decides that THIS is the day he will re-route a gas line in the basement. And the area in which he is working is DIRECTLY BELOW WHERE I AM SITTING! WTF is that all about? Is he TRYING to piss me off? Because you know what? I can’t go down there and say, WTF, asshole? Are you trying to piss me off? Because I’ve been bitching at him for months to get going on the basement. Nevermind the fact that all I wanted was some fucking drywall and some carpet, a couch and a chair and a fucking TV. I did not ask to have the fucking GAS LINE REROUTED. I can’t take a shower all day because there’s no hot water because he’s got the gas line turned off. So, I sit here, in my stink, trying to get homework done (okay, I’m not trying that hard, obviously, because I’m blogging) and he’s working on a project he could have spent the ENTIRE summer working on, only he didn’t, because he was REALLY BUSY sitting on his ASS doing NOTHING.
I guess I could have shortened all this to 3. My husband. But bitching is fun, sometimes.

I really thought this was a good idea, but it’s making me all pissy and negative. I think I’ll have to consider it a work in progress, and when something pisses me off, I’ll come over here and add it to the list. But sitting here, like I did with my 100 Things about Me list, and trying to come up with 100 Things that Piss Me Off, is just going to drive me to drink. And it’s not that hard to do that.
